Administrative support
Website Design & Management
Graphic Design
Hi! I'm Emma Chinn.
After completing my music degree in 2011, I started my career in the music industry at the classical artist management company, Hazard Chase. I was soon promoted to Office and Marketing Manager and became an Associate Director in 2018 overseeing HR, office management, marketing, social media, graphic design, and the company website.
After 9 brilliant years at Hazard Chase working with musicians worldwide, I decided to take on a new challenge and start my own business. Colour Drop Creative was born! I work with creative companies, individuals in the arts, and arts organisations, providing administrative support, graphic design services, video editing, and designing/building/managing websites. This allows my clients the freedom to focus on selling / performing / writing / filming / composing, and promoting their work.
Website Creation & Management
I create attractive, functional and unique branded websites for artists. I work with you to build a site that reflects your image, and gives visitors the information they need to be up to date with your success.
I then offer ongoing management, keeping the site up to date with news, reviews, concert dates, media and more. I have a lot of experience using Overture and am very happy to have access to keep calendars up to date.
There is a one-off fee for the build, followed by PAYG billing by the hour for ongoing management, or a monthly retainer.
Graphic Design & Video Editing
Social media is important when promoting your career and connecting with fans and supporters, but standing out to the scrolling eye can be difficult.
This is where I step in. I create informative and eye-catching graphics and videos for all social media platforms, including YouTube thumbnails, and post them for you!
Document Design
Perhaps you feel this is not the right time for you to have a website made, but you need to communicate your work/projects to promoters. A good option may be to create a sales document to send to festivals, venues, collaborators and management teams at the click of a button. They can include biographies, photos, programme notes, reviews, upcoming concerts, and anything else you need.
I also produce concert programmes and posters, so get in touch if you are looking for support with document design!
Pricing
I offer a Pay As You Go plan to clients. This means I track how many hours I have worked and send you a monthly invoice.
I also offer retainer plans (details below).

Look After Our Planet!
It is very important to me to ensure I am minimising my impact on the environment. Here is how I run my business in order to do what I can to look after our planet:
-
I am lucky enough to be able to walk to my office, lowering my carbon footprint
-
I hold virtual meetings as much as possible rather than travelling to meet clients
-
I am a paperless business. The increased sophistication of electronic document creation, sharing and archiving means printing paper is no longer always necessary
-
I use natural lighting and ventilation to minimise energy use
-
All equipment is turned off when not in use to reduce energy
-
I use washable, reusable face masks
Helpful tips to make your business more planet friendly:
-
Recycle materials including toner cartridges
-
Re-use office supplies such as envelopes and folders
-
Service printers regularly to ensure operation at maximum efficiency, and minimal adverse impact
-
Purchase environmentally friendly office supplies as much as possible, including soaps, washing up liquids and paper towels
